Score Alarm was first tested throughout the Croatian market, where National Lottery bought the rights to it, a member of the international and European lotteries organization. Although this is a small market, it is excellent for testing because the population loves sports and the number of iPhones is constantly growing. This version of Score Alarm saw over 25,000 customers (from possible a 50,000, which is the maximum reach in Croatia) who produced over 3,000,000 sessions and nearly 3.200.000 delivered push notifications in only a few months.
“I’m a big fan of sports, I’m interested in what happens in the USA (NBA, NHL, NFL, MLB, MLS), what are the results of the UEFA Champions League in Europe, which tennis tournaments are playing in the world. I love to track the results live. Worldwide there are millions of people like me and I just could not help but notice that on the AppStore there are not enough high-quality solutions, adapted to the needs of users, who have that kind of need, a need to follow many sports in real time with detailed statistics. Score Alarm is such a solution, and I believe that we will soon become the leading application for monitoring the results on the AppStore. We did it in a way like no one ever before”, said Klaric, founder of startup Score Alarm. Contact: [email protected].
You can download and try Score Alarm for free, from the AppStore:
Sports Techie, Having an operational global brand because of our social media network is amazing to behold. I am in Seattle and Klaric is in Croatia and you are reading about their innovative sports technology app wherever you are. His team’s focused on 19 sports to begin with but soccer is their core sport. Noticeably absent are all college sports, auto racing and the Olympic games. I would like to see a Fantasy Sports interface option.
I use the iPhone 5S via AT&T and downloaded the free Lite version. I choose the sport of baseball first and set up the Los Angeles Dodgers under My Favourites and then set up a reminder for their upcoming NLCS series against the ST. Louis Cardinals. In the apps “Event” tab under Today, I set up an alert for all score changes in the MLB ALDS game 5 between the Detroit Tigers and Oakland Athletics tonight on TBS.
They offer a Score Alarm Pro version that is a subscription model with a modest cost per month or year. You get live statistics and lineups in football, head to head statistics, history, last meetings results, performance table, competition table, and favorite team selection, and more.
I saved the NFL’s TNF game on NFL Network between the N.Y Giants and Chicago Bears at Soldier Field next followed by saving the Seattle Seahawks. The NHL hockey season has already begun and so has the Premier League so I need to save them. The NBA is almost here, Rugby matches are on and I may want to follow Snooker.
Don’t miss the game… with Score Alarm.
