EVENT ON-SALE: American Express Dinner on the 50 Returns to CenturyLink Field
American Express is back for another NFL season with “American Express Dinner on the 50” at CenturyLink Field on August 29 kicking off their 2017 All for the 12s season long partnership with the Seattle Seahawks. As the curator of THE Sports Techie community blog it gives me pleasure to share this promotion with fellow 12s. I look forward to attending the Hawks SNF game on October 1 versus the Indianapolis Colts thanks to a wonderful invitation from a long-time friend, Steve Caniglia. American Express Dinner on the 50” starts at 6:00PM PST and is limited to 400 Card Members. The local Seattle small business owners will have the opportunity to participate in a unique, four-course dining experience on the 50-yard line.
Fans in attendance can look forward to delicious appetizers and yummy desserts presented by involved Seattle-area businesses, as well as Seahawks game day programming and special guest appearances by Seahawks players Bobby Wagner and Tyler Lockett.
Tickets exclusively for American Express Card Members are on sale in a few hours at 10 AM PST on a first-come, first-served basis, with availability limited ($50 per ticket, four tickets max per person, must be age 21+ to attend). In addition, American Express will be select and invite more than 150 Seattle small business owners to join them and the 12s for this special evening.
Features of Dinner on the 50 this year include:
– A four-course meal (similar to the four quarters of the game) and a pre-dinner cocktail reception
– Special appearances by Seahawks players Bobby Wagner and Tyler Lockett
– A variety of special game day programming, including appearances by Blitz, the Sea Gals, the Blue Thunder Drumline, Taima the Hawk and the Lombardi Trophy

Dinner on the 50 made a big debut last year as an exclusive experience for American Express Card Members and Merchants (photos here). Those in attendance were wowed by a four-course meal (similar to the quarters in football), special appearances from Seahawks players and a variety of special game day programming. Blitz and other Seahawks entertainers even made appearances!
AMEX/Seattle Seahawks Partnership
American Express and the Seahawks have partnered again for the 2017 season marking the sole NFL sponsorship for AMEX. The mutual decision to activate the All for the 12s platform involving working with Seattle businesses and the Seahawks to provide a variety of benefits for Card Members and the 12s all season long was a hit and will be even better this year.
Card member benefits include the Section 12 pre-game activation, Seattle local business offers, in-stadium deals at concessions for American Express Card Members and the return of Hawks Island later this year.
Sports Techie, I attended the 12s fan rally’s here in Atlanta at two sports bars before the playoff game against the dirty birds in the Georgia Dome which the Hawks lost leading to a Super Bowl appearance for the Falcons. Home field advantage was just a kick away for the Hawks, perhaps that could have made a difference. Now the Falcons have a new competitive edge in the launch of Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
An off-season highlight for the 12thman was the induction of Kenny Easley into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
