Sportel Sports Business StartUp Competition In Monaco With Deltatre
The second edition of the ‘Sportel Startup Competition’ was launched in July together with deltatre. There are three days left for entrants to win the competition designed last year for global start ups (only) to gather in Monaco during the Sportel event in October of 2015 and pitch their sports business innovation ideas to judging panel of significant industry professionals. Last year’s edition was a success and this year is the first competition ever that is fully sports and tech specific which is to be judged by relevant industry execs, sport personalities and sports media grouped together to select on what can be considered an incubation path for the next big technology idea in sports. The Sports Techie community blog hopes some of you sport business entrepreneurs can enter a last second entry and win.

Why a Sport-specific Startup Competition?
The professional sport marketing and media business environment is based on consolidated models and players, including Sport Federations and Leagues, Broadcasters, Marketing Agencies, Brands and Service Companies.
Innovation often comes from thinking outside the box and this initiative can bring great inspiration to the sports industry. A lot of young entrepreneurs are disrupting the way people watch, operate, engage and play sports, and it’s crucial for the long-term success of sport companies to learn and understand about disruptions – before they affect them.
Sports Techie, Time is of the essence so if you want to win this terrific start-up contest hurry up and get your entry in over this weekend or by Monday, October 31.
