National League Choose StreamAMG To Power New Streaming Platform
Vanarama National League in the fifth-tier of men’s English football and not the MLB division, launched as a new, StreamAMG powered, direct-to-consumer online video platform launching officially on December 26. After a recent beta-phase, soft launch, the finished product will showcase the recently signed deal between the National League and broadcast partner, BT Sport, for rights to stream live, non-televised soccer matches that comply with Article 48. Fans also have streaming access to all matches available internationally. StreamAMG brings their decades long leadership as a specialist technology company focused on delivering OTT video content of both live and ondemand video. National League’s board recommended installing a business collaboration bundle made up of StreamAMG, digital agency Other Media, and live production specialists, 247.tv, for all 24 clubs and their supporters to support.

The platform was designed by sport and digital fan experience experts, Other Media, who have delivered digital solutions for UK football clubs across the Premier League and the EFL.

The video functionality will be powered by leading streaming provider StreamAMG, who similarly provide market-leading OTT solutions for sports properties with direct-to-consumer offerings, such as ATP Media’s Tennis TV, The FA’s FA Player, Premiership Rugby’s PRTV Live and over 50 sports rights-holders globally.

Fans will be able to stream available live matches and watch on-demand content from every game, such as match highlights and full match replays. Packages will be available to purchase offering single match, monthly, and season subscriptions to view. The new platform will offer a convenient and easy-to-use experience for fans to enjoy more of the on-pitch action when they can’t be at the game and represents a significant step for the National League in bringing fans closer to more of the action.
Ives further shared, “The platform will launch in full on the 26th December with our 24 National Division clubs and our aim is to expand with North and South clubs in due course. We are confident that we can build on the already record attendances in stadia as well as delivering a fantastic platform for fans who ordinarily would not be able to attend matches.”
