On Heels of NWSL Advanced EMR Deployment, Women’s New Jersey/New York-Based Football Club Expands Use of iP: Intelligence Platform
Performance intelligence provided by Kitman Labs are an expanded technological component for the 2023 NWSL Champions, Gotham FC, going forward as a deal was announced today. The team onboarded the single, centralized operating system for performance intelligence in the elite performance industry last year when the global enterprise SaaS platform developed by Kitman Labs was provided for league-wide deployment of the company’s proprietary Performance Medicine Solution as the NWSL’s advanced EMR. New Jersey/New York-based Gotham FC will look to defend their first title with further integration of the iP: Intelligence Platform throughout the Club including Performance Optimization. The first test for the champions is the upcoming 2024 NWSL Challenge Cup against the San Diego Wave, winner of the 2023 NWSL Shield, presented by CarMax, on Friday, March 15. The regular season kickoff begins the following day on Saturday, March 16. Look to watch the Challenge Cup on Prime Video streaming as it marks the start of continuous Friday night match coverage and more. Gotham and Kitman Labs will work together to optimize soccer and athletic output by providing actionable insights derived via both medical and performance data, as well as analytics intelligence, all available across the organization for coaches and players during live matches or off the pitch, as a mobile solution.

Gotham FC Sports Tech Enhancements
The professional women’s football club will now be able to combine player medical data with performance data (eg. game, training, gym, physical testing and more) in a centralized and fully integrated advanced operating system – eliminating information silos, enabling cross-Departmental communication and supporting evidence-based, data-led decision-making. All relevant stakeholders across the team will now have access to a complete, real-time assessment of each athlete. Both players and practitioners will be able to access and input data through a dedicated Coach and Player App to allow for real-time data capture on and off the pitch.
