NBRPA’s Health Screening Program To Make Stops in Los Angeles, Houston, Atlanta, Detroit, NBA All-Star in Indianapolis, NCAA Women’s Final Four in Cleveland and the NBRPA’s Annual Legends Summer Getaway in Las Vegas

Former NBA/WNBA/ABA and Harlem Globetrotter Legends in various U.S. cities that are members of the National Basketball Retired Players Association (NBRPA), can take part in the commended Health Screening Program during 2023 and 2024 as happened this past weekend in Orlando, Florida. The NBRPA’s Health Screening program was held at the Orlando Magic’s Amway Center on Saturday, November 11. Men and women attended the membership driven medical affair to undergo a variety of targeted screening procedures such as blood work, electrocardiograms (ECG), echocardiograms or “echo”, and cardiology consultations. The Sports Techie community blog encourages NBRPA members to take part at upcoming scheduled stops in Los Angeles, Houston, here in Atlanta, Detroit, NBA All-Star in Indianapolis, NCAA Women’s Final Four in Cleveland and the NBRPA’s Annual Legends Summer Getaway in Las Vegas. An added benefit to Legends in attendance in Orlando was an inspiring evening of basketball entertainment between the Milwaukee Bucks and hosts, the Magic.

“We are thrilled at the opportunity to showcase our Health Screening Program for our members in the Orlando area,” said Scott Rochelle, President & CEO, NBRPA. “This program presents an incredible occasion for us to bring this impactful program to where our members live and we look forward to continuing to bring this invaluable benefit to other markets across the United States, as well as to Indianapolis for the NBA All-Star weekend in February and to our annual Legends Summer Getaway in Las Vegas later this year.”
