ShotTracker, the revolutionary AI-powered sports analytics platform transforming how teams capture and visualize performance data, today unveiled a comprehensive platform designed to engage with the added technological and data needs for Division 2 and Division 3 men’s and women’s basketball programs, the first time the company’s modified tech on the bench platforms will be available to schools outside Division 1, as well as their latest renewals and additions of partner schools. The Sports Techie community blog encourages interested DII and DII schools to contact ShotTracker at: https://shottracker.com/ and let them know who send you. The competitive edge ShotTracker provides for the cost is a tremendous value for all levels of program enhancement, offering a recruiting edge, and both practice and in-game optimizations.

Davyeon Ross, Co-Founder and President of ShotTracker, said, “We spent the late spring and summer in the field, listening and learning not just from our wide range of partner schools, but from basketball professionals and technologists who continue to help programs and individuals find an edge for success. What came out was a growing need for schools outside of Division I to enhance their technology in cost-efficient ways that still helped them develop and recruit, and our announcement today for those programs is also reflective of that time. While schools below D1 have their own special needs, those coaches yearning for ways to improve are no less strong or less competitive, and we are excited to roll out this offering for those set of potential new partners as well.”
The updated list of returning and new schools expanding the roster of ShotTracker partnerships include: the LSU, Indiana University, Murray State University, UNC Charlotte men’s programs and Brigham Young University, UNC Charlotte, Murray State University, University of Colorado, St. Bonaventure and UCLA women’s program.
All of which will be adding various elements of the ShotTracker offerings with Helix, Hype, Scout or Pulse systems, or upgrading their initial partnerships.
Ross added, “In addition to this special version of their products to Division 2 and 3 men’s and women’s programs for the first time, ShotTracker continues to expand its relationships across the NCAA. These new and enhanced partnerships are the result of all that time of reflection and development.”
This news follows ShotTracker’s continued growth in 2025. That includes enhanced work with the 2025 Phillips 66 Big 12 Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships and one of the largest expansions in recent company history as well as the July addition of FanThreeSixty as a new strategic partner. The Kansas Jayhawks were the first team to integrate ShotTracker’s embedded real-time analytics and AI-driven visualizations directly into FanThreeSixty’s all-in-one engagement platform specifically designed for the sports and entertainment industries, creating an unprecedented immersive experience for teams, broadcasters and fans alike.
The new expansion brings the number of ShotTracker partner schools to nearly sixty, with more coming later this year.
Sports Techie, this announcement out of Overland Park, Kansas, is ideal for both new and existing clients because the upcoming college basketball season begins play November 3. That gives teams using the advanced sports technology product more time to adapt it into each programs flow while new or interested teams can test each feature out and see what fits best.
Allowing D2 and D3 college sports teams to utilize ShotTracker is a wonderful step for the company as their reach expands across the country and overseas.
This fall season is perhaps the best for domestic sports as the NFL, college football, MLB, the WNBA. MLS and NWSL, are all being played at high levels, while college basketball is about to start play along with the NHL. There is something for all sport fans to enjoy.
Much like there is something for all collegiate basketball programs to enjoy using with ShotTracker.
ShotTracker empowers coaches, players, front-office leaders and rights holders with instant access to video, data and AI insights—fueling stronger teams, smarter decisions and more electrifying fan experiences.
I am excited to learn about additional ShotTracker users and what’s new for 2026.
See you later sportstechie in Seattle, Atlanta and around the world!
