ShotTracker, FanThreeSixty Launch New Strategic Partnership
ShotTracker continues to evolve their proprietary AI-powered sports analytics platform by integrating with FanThreeSixty, the comprehensive fan engagement platform. The Kansas Jayhawks were the first team to integrate ShotTracker’s embedded real-time analytics and AI-driven visualizations directly into FanThreeSixty’s all-in-one engagement platform specifically designed for the sports and entertainment industries, creating an unprecedented immersive experience for teams, broadcasters and fans alike. This strategic partnership aims to transform how teams capture and visualize performance data using ShotTracker technology, while merged together with FanThreeSixty’s tech enabling the creation of impactful engagements that drive revenue and save resources. Using FanThreeSixty to simplify data analysis and action for organizations of any size, integrated with ShotTracker’s innovative suite of products delivering completely autonomous basketball stats to teams, broadcasters and game partners as well as scouting, on demand and on-the-bench solutions that enable teams to utilize the most advanced video and data, users such as KU are provided with a competitive edge that is broadcast ready, ultra fan friendly and extremely sponsor driven. The Sports Techie community blog looks forward to the evolution of sports tech through partnerships such as this impactful one. ShotTracker is currently being utilized by over 50 men’s and women’s college basketball programs. Its partners include Nike, Adidas, Under Armour, Spalding and Wilson.
Expanding Sports Tech Relationship
The burgeoning partnership, which began with the highly successful implementation of ShotTracker’s dynamic data graphics for Kansas basketball, will be available to all FanThreeSixty customers going forward. After a successful pilot with KU’s men’s and women’s basketball programs during the 2024 season, through the Kansas Jayhawks app, a comprehensive rollout is expected for the 2025/2026 season, allowing fans access to the same elite-level analytics used by coaches on the sidelines.
The first implementation of the partnership made ShotTracker visuals available in the newly launched Kansas Jayhawks app and on new video boards installed inside Allen Fieldhouse. Early views incorporated shot charts created from ShotTracker data including shooting percentages and shot location of the full team and individuals, shown real-time with game specific data, which was native in the mobile app.
