Sports Techie, my fondest memories of the globies are as a kid back in the 1970s, when our family was living in Bellingham and Redmond, Washington. Back then, Meadowlark Lemon and Curley Neal led the team around the states, providing basketball skills, community togetherness, and plenty of laughs, to all fans in attendance.
Their 100-year celebration season is sure to be a memory maker as well.
The Globetrotters together with the NBRPA are set to make that so in 2006 and beyond.
Hoops finest entertainers certainly are an American and global icon.
See you later sportstechie in Seattle, Atlanta and around the world!
