Digital Scout has partnered with Scout.com to power all of Scout’s new statewide live scoreboards and player profiles. Scout.com, owned by Fox Sports, now has statewide scoreboards where their members and high school fans can click to find live, play-by-play action for high school football teams across the country. Our Sports Techie community blog is delighted to report about this sports business milestone between Digital Scout and Scout and speak once again with Digital Scout, Vice President, Dan Fronczak.

The partnership will also allow Scout.com to provide live streaming video of national spotlight games inside the box scores. This combo of live video and play-by-play stats provides high school fans with the ultimate fan experience. According to Dan, “It’s a great deal and we’re very excited to be working with a company like Scout.com.”

“With thousands of high school football teams already utilizing our Digital Scout stat tracking app, we were able to provide Scout.com with national coverage,” said Dan. “This is strictly a deal with Scout.com. We are working with them across the entire country with the exception of a handful of cities where we have exclusive partnerships with other companies. In general we provide data to them for about 1,000 games per weekend.”

The Digital Scout HSGameCenter is powering the Scout and Fox Sports Prep Zone on MSN.
