América Móvil selected Deltatre to provide digital broadcast services for the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympic Games to 17 Latin American countries. This comes after the International Olympic Committee awarded the right to América Móvil to broadcast the Olympic Winter Games in 2014 and the Olympic Games in 2016 back in March.

América Móvil, S.A.B. de C.V. (“América Móvil”) has selected deltatre to provide multiplatform digital solutions for the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games. The digital sport media group will provide America Móvil a set of solutions for América Móvil’s broadcast of the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games, including Diva, its market-leading video player integrating synchronized sports data and navigation; Podium for real-time interactive sports data for web and mobile; and mobile and tablet applications. The services will use the Microsoft Azure platform.

América Móvil will showcase the XXII Olympic Winter Games in Sochi, Russia in 2014 and the Games of the XXXI Olympiad in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 2016 to a potential of hundreds of millions of Spanish speaking viewers and fans. The 17 Latin American countries are: Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela.
