NBC will be filming 8 professional athletes and 4 everyday Spartans at the Spartan Race World Championships in Killington, Vermont on September 21st for a 90 minute thrilling TV finish. This World Championship Spartan Beast race is a 10-12 mile obstacle course created for the most advanced Sports Techie athlete. It’s not just any old race. It’s not even just any old Spartan race…it’s the Spartan World Championships, Sports Techie. Compete with your peers, fellow Spartans and some of the best athletes in the world and give your best shot at your chance at $250,000 in cash and prizes.

Spartan Race has launched a Get On TV campaign in which people will submit a story about how training and racing in a Spartan Race has transformed their life for a chance to be featured on this special. Whether a mud run, fun run, olympic run, bike race, death march or any kind of event claiming to be the “toughest race on the planet,” only Get On TV will show it all.
World Championship Spartan Charity Challenge
Race for a cause in the Spartan Charity Challenge heat at the World Championships with a team of 5 people and the top 5 teams will get prize money donated to their respective charities. Spartan up and learn more about it.
