Unilumin’s Immersive FIFA Fan Festival™ Dallas LED Sphere And Main Stage Display Visitor Engagement

Unilumin Powers More Than 8.5 Million Pixels of Immersive Fan Experiences at FIFA Fan Festival™ Dallas

How FIFA Fan Festival™ Dallas Turned Fans Into Part of the Experience

Unilumin had a display technology and visual solutions World Cup project mission, to provide immersive fan experiences at FIFA Fan Festival™ Dallas, in collaboration with AMS Events. The innovative partners designed, developed and deployed two immersive, large-scale LED installations creating unique fan experiences for fan festival visitors in Texas. Football fans engage with the giant interactive LED sphere and Main Stage display through near real-time engagement watching the sports tech magic happen. Participants scan a QR code then upload a photo to generate lifetime memory views of themselves while appearing almost instantaneously on a custom 5-meter Interactive LED Sphere located at Fair Park. The LED Sphere and Main Stage LED display at Dos Equis Pavilion combined for a total deployment of more than 8.5 million pixels of LED technology. The LED Sphere installation features 3.7 million pixels and a 360-degree interactive experience designed to encourage participation, social sharing, and memorable fan moments. The Sports Techie community blog followers and readers in Dallas have a tournament high of 9 matches spread over a little over the next month to enjoy the world’s top tournament at the official fan fest of Dallas.

“From the Interactive LED Sphere to the Main Stage display at Dos Equis Pavilion, this project demonstrates how LED technology can transform fan engagement through immersive storytelling and participation,” said Paul Johnston, Vice President of Global Strategic Markets, Unilumin USA. “By combining iconic visual experiences with real-time audience interaction, we’re helping create memorable moments that extend beyond the venue and amplify the energy of the world’s most celebrated sport.”
