Trevor Lawrence Exclusive NFT Collection Released By Topps On Mintable

Topps And Trevor Lawrence Announce Release Of NFT Collection Created By Brother Chase, Sister-In-Law Brooke, Launching Today Exclusively On Mintable

Trevor Lawrence is featured in the inaugural Topps football-related NFTs (non-fungible tokens) releasing today and launched exclusively on the Mintable marketplace. He and his fiancé await Trevor’s upcoming selection as the number one 2021 NFL Draft pick come Thursday, broadcasting on ABC. The six-piece NFT collection used art images created by his brother Chase, and sister in-law Brooke for a sold-out exclusive box-set of cards. The new set comes with five open-edition cards, along with the opportunity to receive an exclusive Chrome card, and a one 1/1 auction of a signed Superfractor card and signed Artist Proof card from Chase and Trevor. The store drop is open now (since 11AM ET) and will be available for 24 hours only. Lawrence NFTs are securely stored via Mintable blockchain technology. I’m almost certain the winningest starting quarterback in Clemson history had no idea when he was but a freshman that he would have his own Topps NFT tokens just days before he is to be the first pick by Jacksonville Jaguars, at -10000 to 1 odds according to Vegas sportsbook, BetMGM.

“I couldn’t be happier with how the card set came out, and I am even more excited to get into the world of NFTs with this series,” said Trevor Lawrence. “Everyone saw how amazing Chase and Brooke’s designs turned out, and I think they’ll love the pieces we worked on together for the NFTs.”

Lawrence NFT

Look to pay $200 for each of the five open-edition Lawrence NFTs. Investors, artists, hobbyists, and fans, oh my, are among the wide-ranging target markets for these special collectibles.

“The amazing response to the Trevor Lawrence card set and his status as a transcendent figure in football makes the issue of these NFTs a natural for us,” said Jeff Heckman, Topps Global Director, New Business Ventures. “As was the case with the sold-out cards, Chase and Brooke bring their unique talents and connection with Trevor to their creations, and we are pleased that the lower price point will make their work accessible to many more fans and all level of collectors.”

Trust The Mintable Crypto Process

The goal is to get each collector to purchase all five open-edition Lawrence NFTs so they become eligible to be granted a special exclusive limited edition physical Chrome card. Considering this is Lawrence’s first and likely, only Chrome card, buyers need to purchase the entire Open Edition NFT’s to release the instant, exclusive and potentially, valuable, collector piece.

Once it, or they are legally yours, any fan or collector can resell, acquire or trade, NFTs through the proprietary platform secured through the use of debit or credit card. Consider NFTS to be a type of digital asset transferring and recording ownership using digital ledger blockchain tech. Topps and Trevor are trusting the Mintable process in part because of the next-generation NFT marketplace is constructed on the Ethereum & Zilliqa blockchain. Launched in 2018, Mintable’s gas-free minting option was designed to enable everyday people the chance to create, sell and trade NFTs without coding experience and upfront costs often associated with minting an asset.

This year Mintable hit the investment bullseye now backed by known investors such as Mark Cuban, Sound Ventures, founded by Guy Oseary and Ashton Kutcher’s, and TIME Ventures, the Marc Benioff investment fund. The popular company has sold and auctioned Grammy-Award winning artist pieces, 20th century avant garde artists, and variety of renowned artists and celebrities. Add T-Law and Topps to the mix.

Because of blockchain, a single NFT is a one-of-a-kind item making it a collectable in the sense that is cannot be duplicated. NFTs are not limited to one format or another, adding to the individualism and potential increase in value. Because they are digital files, the artists used art, videos, music, images, and other formats, for the Lawrence collection.

The Artists

Chase and Brooke Lawrence have a site at (https://bclawrence.art).

Their 50-card Topps set earlier this month, sold off the digital selves as collectors, fans and interested folks in nostalgia, loved the psychedelic period settings representing the 1960’s-70’s and the blend with classic comic book and graphic novel illustrations showcased on both the printed cards and NFTs.

“We are honored by the response to the physical cards we created and are excited to collaborate with Trevor and Topps on our first NFT collection,” said Chase and Brooke. “This collection is meant to showcase Trevor’s natural energy and charisma paired with colorful nostalgia, and retro-psychedelic works of art.” Lawrence, the 2018 national champion and first quarterback ever to win three ACC Championship Games, finished second in the 2020 Heisman Trophy balloting as he led Clemson to the national championship game. In his storied three-year career, he completed 758-of-1138 career passes (66.6 %) for 10,098 yards with 90 touchdowns and 17 interceptions for a pass efficiency rating for 164.26 in 2,237 snaps over 40 career games (36 starts).

Sports Techie, NFTs and marketplaces are everywhere. Jake Paul auctioned a video clip his after the last PPV knockout win here in Atlanta last weekend, combined it with the surprising Nate Robinson KO clip, and sold them morphed together as a single NFT, available at the new NFT Marketplace created by Triller.

The NFT market and Industry are just talking off.

Just like Trevor’s NFL career. I am hoping Trevor’s non-throwing shoulder is healed. His new life focus is about to be bringing a Super Bowl trophy or a half dozen, to Jacksonville before he retires.

When that happens, the new NFTs to commemorate the Big Game win(s) and ideally, Hall of Fame career, make this Mintable drop together with Topps, all the more wantable.

Best of luck, Trevor.
