StringKing as an official lacrosse equipment supplier to the NLL for the next three years

New agreement elevates StringKing to “Official Equipment Provider” status across multiple product lines as the NLL continues to add premium equipment

A National Lacrosse League (@NLL) official lacrosse equipment supplier for head, mesh and handle is StringKing (@StringKing). For the next three years, the largest and most successful professional lacrosse property in the world, renewed and extended StringKing as the designated, non-exclusive “Continental Partner” and “Official Equipment Provider” for the NLL. The news announced today out of Philadelphia and Los Angeles, the headquarters for the NLL and StringKing, respectively, ensures the league’s elite box players continue to perform at world-class levels with premium equipment. I am the Sports Techie community blog curator as well as a former high school, college and men’s league player, HS varsity coach, and youth, HS, collegiate, and men’s, official, since 1983. I’ve also seen the evolution of lacrosse equipment thanks to technology for the past 40-years, making the ‘fastest game on two feet’ more exciting than ever. StringKing providing premium lacrosse heads, shafts, and mesh kits gives the NLL an innovative partner as the sport accelerates its growth coinciding with it being added as an official Olympic sport again for the LA 28 Summer Olympics.

“As the NLL continues to innovate its energetic game play, challenge the status quo, and lead the lacrosse industry towards the sport’s inclusion in the upcoming LA28 Summer Olympics, we want to strengthen our bonds with like-minded partners, and StringKing checks every box,” said Kurt Hunzeker, NLL Executive Vice President of Commercial Operations.

Composite 2 is a carbon fiber shaft with a smarter design and new, cutting-edge manufacturing. The result is a light, stiff, and now even stronger shaft

StringKing is honored to partner with the best players in the world and outfit them have with the brand’s top equipment.

Players can look forward to playing with StringKing’s Mark 2 family of heads, Type 5 mesh, and Metal 3 Pro and Composite 2 Pro Shafts.

An improved alloy and smarter material distribution to make the Metal 3 Pro stronger. More weight options ensure every player can find a shaft tough enough for them.

This ongoing partnership enables StringKing to receive direct feedback from NLL players to enhance product development for future products.

StringKing was established in 2011 in Medfield, Massachusetts, by founders Jake McCambell and Luke Aronson. StringKing is a manufacturer of high-performance sports equipment.

“The National Lacrosse League is a vital partner for our business, and we are proud to continue our partnership well into the future,” said Jake McCampbell, StringKing CEO. “The work the NLL does to reach both new audiences and the core lacrosse fans not just in-season but year-round is essential to the growth of our game, and we look forward to working with the teams, coaches and most importantly the athletes, to keep growing and improving all we do together.”

StringKing’s lacrosse products are globally recognized as some of the best in the game. The company gained the trust of top players because of the power, control, and consistency their products provide. StringKing will be supplying NLL teams with heads, shafts, and mesh for their lax sticks.

“This renewal represents a deeper commitment from both organizations to collaborate and provide the NLL’s elite players with premium lacrosse heads, shafts, and mesh kits they need to perform at a world-class level, while also exploring new opportunities to grow the sport with young boys and girls in communities across North America,” added Hunzeker.

The 2023-24 NLL season will commence with NLL Faceoff Weekend the first weekend of December.

The NLL is North America’s premier professional lacrosse league, with a record 1,165,528 fans attending games in 2022-23. How did lacrosse come to the South?

In episode 7 of season 3 on the Joy of Leadership Podcast, Dr. James Taylor sits down with Andy Arlotta, Co-Owner & President of Georgia Swarm Lacrosse. He shares about bringing professional lacrosse to Georgia, the structure of Box Lacrosse and the National Lacrosse League, and the impact of his personal background and faith on his career.

The growth of lacrosse is even more primed for success by the LA28 Games because of the NLL’s UnBoxed Program promoting the box game of sixes to youth across North America.

Congratulations to StringKing and NLL for partnering over the next three years.

Shoot, score, win!
