The good people of Norway’s largest commercial television broadcaster, TV 2, has selected sport digital and broadcast services market leader deltatre for the delivery of official results, Mobile and desktop browser solutions. Deltatre will provide the Norwegian broadcaster with the deltatre Podium Results System, a cutting-edge solution offering users a rich sport experience that delivers comprehensive online coverage for the upcoming 2014 Sochi Winter Olympic Games.

As part of deltatre’s sports media group Video Solution offering, TV 2 will integrate some of the Diva key features in their proprietary technology, a combination of synchronized data and video to allow fans to enjoy sport events on multiple devices for the first time in winter Olympic broadcast history.

Additionally, deltatre will provide the Norwegian broadcaster with the Official TV 2 Apps for smartphones and tablets. The Apps, which will be available for both Android and iOS, include tools such as Official Results, Video Workflow integration, Events schedule, Medals and athletes’ information as well as customizable alerts, news and photos.
deltatre’s and TV 2’s involvement goes beyond the traditional mobile solution and offers an immersive way to experience and engage with the Winter Games, live and in real-time.
deltatre’s Desktop Browser solution consists of a library of Gadgets to bring together the diversity of sports fans: with rich live sports information, fans will be able to participate with Medals, Country and Live Now widgets. All features have been specifically adapted for the online Norwegian sports community and will provide an interactive way for fans to control their viewing experience.
