National Lacrosse League To Roll Out FanCompass’ FC Core Digital Platform

National Lacrosse League and FanCompass Announce Multi-year Strategic Partnership

First league-wide program to measure data and improve fan engagements for all NLL teams to begin this fall

National League Lacrosse (NLL) and FanCompass signed a multi-year agreement to upgrade all teams to the FC Core Platform enabling branded online experiences resulting in abundant fan engagement data and generating digital sponsorship activations for interested partners. Look for a customizable league-wide adoption of FC Core to allow fans to have an interactive user experience for this upcoming lax season. The platform’s dashboard is considered a full-service technology that both league and team partners can use to mine fan data, increase revenues, and stay in constant touch with the digital habits of their always-growing, younger fanbase. This news out of Philadelphia today is testimony to NLL’s dedication to upgrading and transforming the online fan experience for loyal and new fans alike. The Sports Techie community blog curator began playing lacrosse in 1983 at Redmond High School and played in two state championships games before playing collegiate lacrosse at Whittier College and Western Washington University, respectively, followed by years of men’s league play. The NLL was founded two years after I graduated H.S. and has become North America’s premier professional lacrosse league, with a record 1,165,528 fans attending games in 2022-23 so seeing this amazing team sport’s growth has been my pleasure. FanCompass had previously been working with two NLL clubs, the Georgia Swarm and Rochester Knighthawks, and the successful work there helped lead to this league-wide partnership.

Sports Techie, I was also a former youth, high school and adult game official, and coached lacrosse at the high school level both in Washington State at my alma mater as Head Coach, and here in Georgia at Dunwoody HS at the varsity level as their Community Coach.

I love the game and am thrilled to again share NLL sports tech news with our followers and readers.
