FootyCon was founded by Curtis Brown and Ben Hooper to unite the diverse communities of the sport of soccer through art, fashion, and culture. The festival on NTWRK will bring together consumers from around the globe and give them access to exclusive products as well as the chance to engage with cultural tastemakers, personalities, and players with deep ties to the sport. As part of the announcement, Topps was also revealed as the exclusive collectible partner of FootyCon. Topps and FootyCon will collaborate and feature unique content and exclusive giveaways to fans from its Major League Soccer, UEFA Champions League, and Bundesliga collections during the buildup to the festival and the event itself.

My hope is that Footycon helps show plugged in venture capitalists, rich athletes and celebrities, and wealthy governments with disposable income, the notion that new revenue streams from the likes of this online soccer event, or women sports as a whole, will certainly shift fan behavior with the end game creating investors big returns on investments. Giving back is the new name of the global economic game.

Topps is providing collectible FootyCon giveaways. Hopefully, this type of philanthropy effort can become more of a business trend at any type of sporting event, whether it be live sport or niche festivals streaming on the web.

Social good events like Footycon and partners like Topps are giving back to the fans, helping to shape culture.
