Sports Techie, Team Highlight defeated Team Nitro in the Under-Armour All-American football game while Army West beat Army East in the U.S. Army sponsored high school game. Game stats are available at each web site and were updated during the games in real-time for your second or first screen enjoyment.

I like that UnderArmour and the U.S. Army are leaders in concussion research and helmet technology. The NFL, NCAA and high school football, and youth leagues like Pop Warner, are being proactive in light of the serious dangers that concussions can cause to a brain with showcase events like these. Several recruits announced their college football intent via social media channels like Twitter during this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for many of these players from around the United States and one day soon beyond our nation’s borders.

Football season is almost over but around the corner is Super Bowl 48 at MetLife Stadium in cold-weather New Jersey and New York, the Pro Bowl which has a new fantasy football theme, and the 2014 NFL combine and draft.

Be sure to take advantage of all the TV, computer, smartphone and tablet deals right now so you can watch next year’s All-American games live accompanied by the free HSGC.
