Facebook Libra Coin is poised to shake up the 2019 cryptocurrency financial world developed on blockchain technology and other secure technologies. No matter the country you live in, the community you frequent, the products and services you purchase or offer, and the currency you normally use, Facebook has every user in mind when they created their own infrastructure for spending, sharing or investing worldwide on the world’s most popular and engaged social media platform. The Sports Techie community blog is not an exert on this topic but I learn quickly as do many of our sport readers and followers. Libra has some Big Mo to consider.
BitCoin Meets Facebook
Today, one single bitcoin is worth approximately $11,703.60 in the electronic cashless society. Ten years ago, it launched with a supply limit of 821,000,000. The market for bitcoin soared overnight and made many an owner instant millionaires. Then the decentralized digital currency corrected and shares crashed. Like the stock market, those that got in early, cashed out in 2017 and 2018 scoring large financial windfalls, and those that bought late did not fare as well. Things are much better for bitcoin recently but the latest fact is, bitcoin lost 8% value in several hours just today because of profit taking. Tomorrow, it could be up 10%. The risk is high but the reward with investing in crypto currency can also be sky high.
The next phase was the creation of all kinds of different cryptocurrencies further saturating the markets. Many of the newest became like penny stocks. You could purchase millions of various types of cyrptocurrency for just a few dollars using your smartphone. Some might mature and you win big, most will not and you did not lose much capital anyways.
What to do asked savvy and new investors alike looking for the quick return on investment that the original bitcoin presented.
Well, now you have Libra to add to the new digital money mix to consider.
Because Libra operates without a central bank and is built on both blockchain tech and Move programming language, it’s associations sits comfortably in Geneva, Switzerland operating as an independent, non-profit business. So unlike cash which is stolen all the time, Libra is a secure ecosystem.
Learn more about it in this Infographic titled, “Libra: Cryptocurrency By Facebook (In 5 Minutes)” below presented by MrBtc.org .
Sports Techie, the founding network of Libra are important to note. Visa, MasterCard and PayPal, join Lyft, Uber and Spotify among the more prominent initial members.
In 2017, I wrote a sport cryptocurrency blog regarding how teams might want to look at using bitcoin as the Sacramento Kings of the NBA did.
Well, the same can be said about Libra and sports organizations, the time is probably right to jump on board because it is cashless and currently spendable where a a majority of the eye balls are on social media worldwide. There were 2.38 billion monthly active Facebook users (MAU) as of March 31, 2019 or about one out of every four people on Earth.

Libra coin is the real deal, resistance is futile.
