College Football Hall of Fame Sensory Inclusion Free Month Visit

The College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta is an amazing sports museum and is offering free entry presented by Chick-fil-A and Coca-Cola for the month of August as they celebrate their birthday. I took advantage of the opportunity this past Sunday accompanied by my 6-year old son and his two-year old brother. Yes, the facility has amazing, immersive sports tech but they also have a Kulture City (KC) sensory certification, the first business in the city to do so making it a real win-win. I went to the official CFB Hall of Fame grand opening in 2014 as a blogger, and then returned with my boy at another date to learn more about the special needs, inclusion program because Kellan is on the autism spectrum...

TOPPS NOW® card depicting Major League Baseball opening night first pitch by Dr. Anthony Fauci sold a record 51,512 copies.

COVID-19 is surging across much of America and so was Dr. Anthony Facui’s TOPPS NOW card illustrating his MLB opening day first pitch last Thursday before the New York Yankees and Washington Nationals game as it sold a record 51,512 cards distributed via the TOPPS Company platform. Perhaps his selection was a premonition against the reopening of baseball because the Florida Marlins reported today that 11 players and 2 coaches have tested positive for the virus after playing last night against the Philadelphia Phillies even though 4 players had been infected over the past 3 days making the decision to play baffling, reckless and unwise...

Importance Of Choosing The Right Gears To Give The Best Game Performance

One American Football Player Man Studio Isolated In Full Gear

Wearing the right clothes and gears in football is more than just showing how cool you look in your game outfit. It’s also about walking with your head high into the field, prepared and well-protected for the “battle” ahead.

While it’s easy to choose gears based on how they look, it’s also important to know the science behind the design. Most of these gears were assembled using the science related to sports-specific movements and impacts.

This is especially true when it comes to helmets, because players could suffer from serious head injuries and broken skulls if they don’t wear one. Hence, if you wish to avoid muscle pains and broken bones, picking your gears is a process that you must take seriously...

The FIFA TV media briefing today regarding refereeing and VAR was enlightening both as a fan of football and a sports tech expert. I especially enjoyed listening to Pierluigi Collina, Chairman of FIFA’s referee committee, he hails from Italy and speaks English with a very strong Italian accent. He was joined by Head of FIFA Referring Massimo Busacca, and Kari Seitz, FIFA Senior Refereeing Manager and head of the refereeing project for the Women’s World Cup in France. The sports tech event lasted about a hour and a half and was streamed worldwide...
