Barebones 2019 DCSD Special Olympics Track and Field Has No Room For Budget Cut

I attended 2019 DeKalb County School District Special Olympics, Track and Field event at Hallford Stadium today because my 5-year son was a willing and happy participant along with his mates at Coralwood School, a real God-send of an inclusive, K-3 through kindergarten, public elementary school.  Kellan is on the autism spectrum therefore he and I ran in the assisted 50-yard dash together taking second place in our closely contested heat and fourth place in the baseball/softball throw! Three virtual cheers for Special Olympics.

Infographic About US Olympic Wrestling Legends

You might know the names of the Olympic wrestling greats, but before the medals and accolades, they had to put in years of work. Many of the greats had to overcome difficulties early in life, struggles that developed the tenacity and toughness that ultimately fueled their success on the mat. The Sports Techie blog loves these kinds of stories that inspire others in the sport, fans and family alike. Check out the following infographic for a look at some of the greatest American wrestlers the sport has ever known. While the sports technology component may be missing to some, I believe tech allows modern-day wrestlers the digital ability to share across social media platforms with each fan.
