Then there is the ‘old school’ fan like my Dad that truly believe the human element is a critical component of sports that needs to stay in place no matter what.  Club Football Online created an infographic titled, “Technology And The Future Of Football” to shine light on this important topic...

New Motion-Tracking Tech Allows NBA Fans to See Players Like Never Before.

With the Rio 2016 Olympics at a close and the Paralympics underway, there were many exciting stories to come out of this year’s events including those with a sports technology focus, yet none received as much media attention as 12-time Olympic medalist Ryan Lochte and his three USA Swimming teammates involvement in the gas station fiasco down in Brazil which came to light after a video was revealed catching them all in a cover up lie. Hope Solo was suspended by US Soccer from the women’s national team after critical remarks she made after a semifinals soccer loss to team Sweden in Rio...

Bionic Runner is the world’s only high intensity, non-impact, running-specific trainer.

What is the Bionic Runner? It is a non-impact cross-trainer most have never heard of but those that train with it are setting Masters aged world records when many older athletes either taper down their run mileage or stop running all together. The Sports Techie community blog chatted from Atlanta to Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, via Skype with Steve Cranitch, founder of Run4, the sports tech company that invented the game-changing outdoor bike. The Bionic Runner is different than an elliptical trainer because it closely mimics the natural gait and timing of running...

Slingbox Player March Madness Cubed Sweepstakes

Slingbox Player is amazing technology for the Sports Techie community to consider using during the fast paced NCAA March Madness men’s Division I college basketball tournament and for other live or recorded sporting events because it lets users watch home TV anywhere in the world, on any digital device. I picked up my toddler son from daycare today during the beginning of the Michigan State versus Georgia game being played in Charlotte so I decided to buy Slingbox, download their Slingplayer App for the iPhone that synchs with the M1 Slingbox Player and not miss any hoops games, play or expert analysis as a result of this tech suite...
