The deltatre Onstage business portfolio is tailor-made for the delivery of broadcast solutions. The new Fox Sports Asia studios will feature Augmented Reality, On-screen Presentation Graphics and a Multi-sport Touchscreen. This deal was made to allow Fox Sports options for production. Deltatre is replicating the studios on-location set into a virtual environment to accommodate the growing schedule and need for sports analytics tools for this cutting edge International broadcaster.

Sam Leadsom, Vice-President, Production FOX Sports Asia said, “The new look for the FOX Sports network in Asia adds a refreshing, premium feel to our channels and with the additional graphics and analytical tools that have been introduced, we hope to enhance the experience for all sports fans. We are delighted to be the first network in Asia to display the deltatre product across the region.”

The proprietary Magma graphics product is at the center of the new Fox Sports capabilities powering a new workflow standard that inserts innovative TV graphics with the simple click of a button or touch of a display screen. By integrating with leading software companies Opta and Press Association (PA), Fox Sports is able to compliment robust, big data driven graphics, live to air, or easily saved templates for use later in the real-time show, or for other upcoming or archived shows. To capture the Asian sporting fans hunger for analytics, Magma has a user-friendly web interface solution giving production crews a speedy and professional analysis product ready to compile stats and display clear graphic breakdowns.

Touchscreen is a must-have feature for any on-screen reporters. FIC in-studio presenters can now offer loyal viewers trending content and engaging topics, including – the analysis of game strategy and tactics, breaking news and transfer information, daily results and the standing tables; Sports Techie fans want to know while watching on TV or mobile device second screens.

Jim Irving, deltatre’s Commercial Director added, deltatre is very proud to be working with such an internationally acclaimed broadcaster as FOX International Channels, providing a number of compelling solutions for FOX Sports across such a breadth of sporting disciplines. Our work with FIC for FOX Sports signals a significant step into a new area of business in Asia.”

FIC’s state-of-the-art Nexus@One North facility in the South West of Singapore will instantly become a beacon of sports tech solutions for other Southeast Asia and greater Asia broadcasters to model. Because this will be an entirely new workflow, the local Fox Sports staff will be trained by deltatre with human interaction to speed the learning curve and ensure the new technologies and solutions are operating self-sufficiently.

European football and Asian soccer are the center-piece Fox Sports programming featuring deltatre graphic solutions, along with Motorsports Formula 1 and Moto GP, in addition to Tennis, Golf and Badminton, sporting events.
