ACCDN Sports And Clinton Portis Return To The ACC Digital Network Fall Schedule

The ACC Digital Network (ACCDN) is a lot closer to Atlanta than Seattle so get ready for local fall programming coming out of Charlotte, featuring the return of Football Analyst, Clinton Portis (Link: http://ow.ly/AKLsc ) and their viral campaign to highlight ACC member schools through extended coverage this collegiate football season. We enjoy sharing the latest news about the ACCDN, the official home of ACC Game Highlights and Must See Moments, to the Sports Techie community blog readers and followers, as they deliver Internet based ACC content to sports fans with added fun and interactive video features to enhance your enjoyment of college sports to another level this autumn.

“The ACC Digital Network continues its commitment to keeping fans informed, engaged and entertained,” said ACC Commissioner John Swofford. “This fall is no exception as the ACCDN will once again deliver first-class programming that highlights all 15 ACC member schools.”

The fan experience is topped by the return of popular shows such as Ram Power Plays, CP’s Top 3 (Link: http://ow.ly/AJEZY), Are You Serious?, and the addition of a video feature to accompany the Weekly ACC Power Poll, Jeff Fischel’s Power Poll, beginning September 2.

ACCDN Fall Lineup
The ACCDN fall lineup, promises and expansive Saturday coverage of ACC Football on theACC.com, designed to allow fans to expect cutting edge entertainment, seven days a week with Clinton Portis’s spontaneous personality and Jeff Fischel’s insightful coverage. The fan experience is topped by the return of popular shows such as Ram Power Plays, CP’s Top 3 (Link: http://ow.ly/AJEZY), Are You Serious?, and the addition of a video production to accompany the Weekly ACC Power Poll, Jeff Fischel’s Power Poll, beginning September 2.

On the cusp of a World Cup explosion in the United States, the ACCDN also brings back its in-depth look into the elite soccer conference every Wednesday with ACC Soccer Weekly. Southern or wherever you are located fans can access with a smartphone or tablet, the ACC Now (Link:http://ow.ly/AKDS8), daily trending show, that finds up-to-date conference and sports news customized for you.

“Fans know they can count on the ACCDN to bring them video highlights, Must See Moments and unprecedented access all season long,” said Executive Producer Andy Siegel.  “We also know our fans crave the unique features we do about their favorite team, so I think ACC football fans are going to absolutely love what we’re offering this fall.”

Every week, the ACCDN will offer a new segment that targets specific ACC member institutions and share exclusive content like unique storylines, one-on-one interviews and classic, historic games that will appeal to Sports Techie sports fans across the country and around the world.  The first school under the virtual spotlight is Clemson University. Facing an epic rematch against Georgia this Saturday, the ACCDN aims to excite fans with hype via the Hype Video (Link:http://ow.ly/AJGha), and One-on-One Interviews with Dabo Swinney (Link:http://ow.ly/AJGOk) and Cole Stoudt (Link: http://ow.ly/AJMSr).  On Thursday, Clemson fans can use sports technology to relive the 1987 Clemson vs. Georgia game with a condensed throwback version.

Sports Techie, I have a dilemma in out home as many fans do and that is a good ol’ college football rivalry. I lean towards rooting for Georgia Tech in the ACC while my son’s Mother is a proud Georgia Bulldog alum, meaning our son is caught in the digital cross-fire. Thank goodness for the ACCDN sports tech because I can always use their App, or if need be, on-demand services, and watch ACC sport in real-time on my own time. Of course, we will be locked into the Clemson game come Saturday so watching the Hype video, Portis and Fischel chat about their expert perspective in a completely neutral way to get ready to holler this weekend.

I am excited to take in a live game or two and use the ACCDN app as my second screen for soccer and other ACC college sports events. Get ready for 2014 ACC sports, its here, its digitally fresh and its big data centric on the ACCDN.
